Opening job schedules when purchase order dates change
You can have a job’s schedule open automatically for editing if the Scheduled date for a purchase order for the job changes by selecting an option in the Purchase Order.
Before selecting the option
The following criteria must be in place for this option to work:
- A job must be specified on the purchase order.
- A task must be specified on the purchase order.
- A schedule must be entered and saved for the same job and must include the same task as specified on the purchase order.
To open a job’s schedule when its purchase order dates change:
- Open 6-6-1 Purchase Orders.
- Select the Purchase Order for which you want to activate the option.
- On the Options menu, click Open Job Schedule When PO Scheduled Date Changes.
- Click > .
If a change is now made to the Scheduled box, a message offers you the option of opening and editing the corresponding schedule.
